SPX328 EVO Mini Crane

1.1 NEW STABILITY AREAS AND LOAD CHARTS

With EVO Option the new software allows the crane to operate at even more reduced stability conditions than on standard crane.

Higher lifting capacity/stability footprint ratio.

LIFTING CAPACITY EVEN IN THE LOWEST STABILITY: Even in the lowest stability condition the crane is able to provide lifting capacity, eliminating areas where on standard crane it is forbidden to operate.

LIFTING CAPACITY ON DISPLAY: The new display of EVO model timely shows on all stability areas the maximum lifting capacity: the operator is always aware of the limits over the entire working circumference.

1.2 VARIABLE ENGINE SPEED

With EVO Option the electric motor is managed with variable speed: depending on the power required, the motor will adopt an optimal RPM to ensure the best ratio between energy consumption and performance:

• LOWER ENERGY CONSUMPTION: Up to -25% average energy consumption makes the battery charge last longer.
• FASTER CRANE MOVEMENTS: Maximum motor speed increased by +20% with same consumption and faster crane movements.

1.3 WIDER STABILITY AREAS

With EVO Option the early changes of stability areas have been eliminated: stability area can be fully usable up to the outriggers’ limits.

When moving to an area with lower stability (example: moving from J7 to J0), on standard model the J7 stability area is stopped earlier than the outrigger limit: when the boom stops at J0 area limit, this solution prevents the load from swinging encroaching on the J0 stability area. On EVO model this early stop is not needed anymore: the operator knows in advance the lifting limits of the neighbouring area and speed is reduced when approaching the lower stability area.

1.5 PICK&CARRY WITH JVM800R

The J0 load chart on the EVO version is considered as the pick&carry.

When the glass manipulator JVM800R is installed, thanks to this particularity is possible to drive with the crane while the accessory is installed, and automatically the crane change the load chart on J0.

3. SPECIAL HARDWARE FOR SPX328 EVO UNIT

Although the software version 3.0.0 can be installed on standard cranes SPX328, the features of SPX328EVO will be enabled only with the new electronic Master unit.

4. LOAD CHART

New loading charts with higher lifting capacity even in smaller areas will be available only for the EVO version, and are not compatible with the old SW version 2.4.0.

5. DISPLAY FEATURES ONLY FOR EVO

New setting pages are available on the display.

The EVO model allows you to start working immediately after switching on the key, without waiting the 30-45 seconds required by the standard model to load the software.

6. JIB ON BOARD SELECTION ONLY

On the EVO version, the possibility to modify the JIB on board setting on the machine will be allowed only after login with technician access level.

The operator can only confirm whether the JIB is on board on the crane or not but can’t change the type of JIB on board.

Jib setup

• The type of jib on board can be selected and set by the crane owner only.
• The operator will find the correct jib already set and can select whether having it on board or not. The boom image on display will show the jib present or not too.
